Choosing between schooling methods, how to choose the best option
Many parents opt-in for homeschooling, their children don’t go to regular school but are schooled at home. I have put together a short overview of three most popular homeschooling methods
Classical Homeschooling Method
The first stage of this method begins when students are studying ways to learn and hone the ability to remember things. The next stage already created a connection that starts from the facts that have been studied. The third stage, when students can use the connection of the facts, to formulate and articulate those facts to their own opinion.
As the name suggests, this method tends to use variety of methods parents homeschooling, it is dependent on the children’s needs. Rather than hampered by a philosophy or a method, better take some of the various methods.
HSE INSTEAD OF HS DIPLOMA
Naturally you can opt-in for the GED or HiSET or TASC diploma instead of a High School diploma. The GED as well as HiSET and TASC programs are created to help young adults raise their employment outlooks and to offer them the opportunity to access higher education. There are some 40 million people in America who do not have a high school diploma, and passing the test will open up new professional chances and open doors to colleges and universities.
There are several free online preparation websites that are very useful to get all set for the HiSET, TASC, or GED exam. All preparation can be done entirely online. Beware though, that the tests CANNOT be taken online.
Websites that offer the GED examination (or the diploma) online are just trying to steal your money. When you think your child is ready to take on the examination, you need to sign up and take the test in one of the official testing centers.
Charlotte Mason Method
Charlotte Mason was a British educator teaching method uses a unique method. Many homeschoolers use these methods to teach their children. Why?
a. relatively short lesson;
b. create a narrative (in writing or verbally, depending on the age of the child);
c. have exams (exams do take a theory that has been studied for 12 weeks); d. studied the picture;
e. studied music;
f. studying the map,
g. has many subject lessons.
Or rather finding a right school?
Your child is always made you surprised for his progress.
*Ask how the ratio of the number of students and teachers in a classroom. The smaller ratio of pupils and teachers in a classroom, the greater attention will be given to your children.
*Educational methods applied. What and how the method used to educate your children.
*Finally, then adapted to the education budget that you have prepared. Finding the right school is much more beneficial to your child’s development rather than merely follow the trend and prestige.
